If shapes and styles crossed centuries with the bare minimum of cultural alteration, it is first and foremost to keep emotional senses alive, to convey messages and in this case, to transmit knowledge. To any civilization, objects can transmit but also receive. Objects can then assume their meaning through their ritual or magical use, and can consequently assert themselves as a whole.

So any object can become and get a supernatural power. It actually implies a kind of philosophy, a sacred significance and it rules the african community life in this sense; as it may cure illnesses and spirit evils. If it fails, it will be rejected, if it succeeds, it will turn out to be an obscure and workshipped being.
